IE 6 SP1 No longer works

Last night on my home PC I tried to use IE and kept getting the error
"Microsoft IE has encountered a problem and will now close." Thought it was a
fluke and figured I'd re-install IE next time I got on. Today I come to work
and 1 by 1 each computer starts getting that error message. Is there a
problem with one of the recent patches for IE? I am currently installing
FireFox on all the machines. I would like to revert back to IE if there is a
fix because we manage IE through GPO's. Anyone's information is appreciated

There are sveral spywares that "attack" IE. Do you check for spywares on a
regular basis??

I have a program that runs in the background to scan for spyware. But just
to be sure, I downloaded and ran ad-aware. All it found were a buch of
cookies. I deleted all the cookies, but still having the problem. It seems
too coincidental to be something like that to happen to my home PC and now
the office PC's. Any other idea's?

I, too cannot get into IE but I also can't get into anything where I have to
use Windows Explorer. Is there some kind of virus that is getting rid of it
or stopping it from working? Mine started a couple of days ago and I've not
been able to get in since (to anything where I have to search.)

Any way of fixing this would be appreciated. I'm using McAfee Virus
protection and NoAdware to search for spyware. NoAdware keeps finding the
same things and I keep deleting them but my system is almost completely down.

I too am having this problem! I don't get any error messages, IE just NEVER
loads! I tried doing the update, nothing, tried reinstalling, nothing. I run
both ad-aware and spybot, and have AVG virus protector. Someone please help!
