IE 6 Shutdown

Any time I try to run IE from either the desktop or taskbar
I get an error statement thar an error has ocured in the IE
program and IE will shut down. How can I delete the bad IE
program and reload from scratch or fix the old files? Help!!!
 
Have you tried running Windows Update to make sure you have all the latest
updates for IE? Do you see anything in your application event logs that
looks relevant?

Might want to post in an IE group for best results w/ this question....this
group is for Windows 2000.
