IE 6 Search

When I click on the Search icon the windows appears but
no search page. Also If I try to costomize or change the
search settings in the Customize button, nothing will
change and I can not close for form unless I "X" close it.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.

I have Norton Internet Security 2004 installed, which is
current and upto date, this should deal with all spyware !

I think NIS has a popup stopper. What happens if you turn that off?

And there's me thinking I had tried all of that. I

Disabled NIS and it works, now all I have to do is tweak
with NIS's settings to get the search page while it's on.

You want to turn off the popup stopper feature. That will also give you a
red X for any image callded by a script.
