IE 6 redirecting me to unknown site

Hi ,

Yesterday I tried entering one of my fave sporting
sites, when I got redirected to a "search page", at first
I thought this was some sort of add, and later on it would
redirect me back...but as it turned out, I never was
directed back to my initial page.

This isn't the problem, the problem started when I visit
other pages, one out every 5 pages I visit, I get
redirected automatically back to that cursed page! No
that's a problem.

here's the site:

http://www.search-aid.com/404/?pin=87896

I've tried using Spybot and other "spyware" programmes but
haven't come to any solution...so I've thought of checking
the registry... but I can't do that cause I don't know
which of the enteries I should fix. So is it advisiable
for me to reinstall IE6...and if not than what are my
other alternatives?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There are some more things to try here:

Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
