IE-6 mshtml.dll error

Whenever i try to open IE it gives the following error IE
has encountered an error and needs to restart:

App Name: iexplore.exe; App ver:6.0.2600.0; Mod Name:
mshtml.dll; Mod ver:5.0.2614.3500 Offset: 0012e09d.

Due to this problem I am using Opera browser which is
working fine. Somebody please help

Hello,

You say you use IE6, but mshtml reports version 5. You might try to replace
mshtmùl.dll by the correct version.
