IE 6 Fails when mutiple windows open

I am running (E 6 w/ sp1 on XP Home. When ever a second
window opens (i.e. opening a picture on a website) IE 6
fails and I get a message that an error has occured and it
needs to shut down? Any ideas why this is happening?
Should I reload?

About 6 months ago IE started locking up on me. Lately
Outlook Express has been doing the same. I just switched
to SBC DSL and their browser does the same thing. Is
there some way to fix it? I prefer IE over Netscape but
have been forced to use it.
