IE 6 error: Same problem as Gene Miller

When I click on IE...instead of taking me to Google...it
would take me to Incredifind.com...then I would get
a "cannot display page". This happened 30 days ago. I
got rid of the incredifind.com...but now I get
c:\windows\system\shdoclc.dll dsn error.htm followed
by "cannot display page" Every once in awhile...it does
work (go figure). I've been messing around with the
msconfig start up files...and perhaps messed something
up. I've tried to reinstall IE, but it hasn't worked. Is
there anything I can do besides reinstalling the OS?
Would it help to use the registry editor? I think there
must be something corrupted.....Jane Walker

When you remove incredifind.com, you broke you winsock connection. What
operating system are you using?

If Windows 98 or ME, use this script
