ie 6 closes abruptly

ie 6 will shut down and close all pages when trying to
access certain secure web sites. It leaves an error
message on the desktop, which starts: hs_err_pid***.log.

It goes on to say "An unexpected exception has been
detected in native code outside the VM." and then gives a
long list of Java threads.

Any solutions ?

I have the same problem. It does the same for Netscape
too. They always say it is a problem with
C:\WINDOWS\System32\nvoglnt.dll

nvoglnt.dll belongs to your NVIDIA display driver. Go to Control Panel>
Display> Settings> Advanced. You should find information about the current
driver and how to search for updates.

Or, reinstalling the current driver may be sufficient.
