IE 6 Browser "Ctrl Enter"

When I used to enter a name in the address window and hit "Ctrl Enter", the
http:// and .com would be filled in and I would be taken to the web site.
Lately this doesn't work anymore. It just does a search instead without
filling in the http:// and .com. Is there a way to reinstate this feature
to my IE browser?

Pressing the CTRL + ENTER keys do not add prefix http://www. and .com at the
end ?:

You're wrong Ctrl + Enter does add www. and .com.

Only if "Web addresses" is enabled under Use AutoComplete for section.
