IE 6.0 scrolling down two pages at once instead of one...

when I hit the scroll bar on the right (not the arrow, the
space above the arrow) for a Page Down, I actually get
more like two pages down, and them have to scroll up to
see what I missed.

Quite weird, never seen this before, and didn't change any
settings, although I did do a couple of MS recommended
updates this morning.

Any help on this, I don't think it's adjustable anywhere
in IE, and it happens on all webpages, not just on some.

Apparently a bug in yesterday's patch, Q824245.
Just drag the marker in the scrollbar.

Yeah I have the same exact problem from installing those
Windows Updates. Very annoying. I hope that they release
another patch to fix this soon =)

That should have been Q824145.
If you place the mouse cursor immediately under the indicator in the scroll
bar it just scrolls one page.

I have Q824145 installed, they're not sure if this is the
problem.

I have this same problem. I guess this is after I downloaded the latest
Microsoft patch. Does anyone know if Microsoft is aware, and if so,
when a patch to fix this patch will be issued? Or, is there something
we can do in the meantime?

Thanks!

Yes, Microsoft knows about it.

Is there a way I can remove the patch *without* restoring
the system (and reinstalling several troublesome apps)?
Any idea how soon this might be fixed?

Thanks in advance.

Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs
Internet Explorer Q824145

But the fix will be out very soon.
