IE 6.0 - Favorites

Somehow, almost all files and folders are appearing in my
favorites folder when I click the menu option for
Favorites. When I navigate to the folders file they don't
appear to be there. I would like to clean these out, but
don't seem to be able to. Any suggestions?

If your running Windows XP, this is the location of the
favorites folder. You can delete/add things in this
folder as normal.
C:\Documents and Settings\[USER NAME]\Favorites
