IE 5 stutter-scrolls

Hi all,

After removing some spyware, IE 5 started stuttering as you scrolled the
window - almost as if the computer was incredibly busy doing something else.
I installed Mozilla to check against and it scrolled just fine as do other
programs. I tried upgrading to IE 6 thinking something was corrupted by the
spyware, but that did nothing to fix the stutter.

Anyone have any idea what is causing this and more importantly, how to fix
it?

These days most of us are recommending HijackThis to identify and assist in
the removal of these bad guys. Post your files to the forum mentioned on
the first URL above.
