IE (32 bit) can't connect to web sites but IE (64 bit) can?

I recently installed the eval version of XP 64 on a dual core AMD Athlon 64
bit processor. Both versions of IE (32 and 64 bit) seemed to work, however
recently the 32 bit version can not connect to websites. The 64 bit version
works just fine.

When I try other applications that require Internet connectivity, I get
differnt kinds of TCP errors.

Thoughts?
