Hi, first off I'd like to start by saying that I'm an idiot when it comes to
Access. That being said, I have done my best to create an Access program
that I can track SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus) for my job as a
Professional Fireman. I have been working on this project off and on for
nearly a year. I get so far then get frustrated when nothing works.
I don't know how to even get started. Can anyone give me an idea?

Need a whole lot more information as to how you will use the database.
Will you track maintenance, inspections, and certifications? What kind of
intervals?
Personnel or truck assigned?
Utilization records?
What kind of reports will you be pulling?

You may want to post SPECIFIC questions in this newsgroup or in one of the
appropriate microsoft.public.access.<specific> newsgroups - e.g. Forms for
form questions, tablesdbdesign for structuring and relating tables, etc. We'll
be glad to help.

I've emailed you separately as I'd like to discuss adding this kind of
function to the Granite Fleet Manager http://granitefleet.com/
