Identities compared to Outlook Express?

Is there a way to create multiple identities in Outlook?
Is this the same as creating seperate profiles? If so, how
can I switch between profiles easily, without closing and
reopening outlook? I love everything about Outlook except
for this one thing that Outlook Express seems to offer.

Yes and you hit the proverbial nail right on the head. Outlook's term
profiles would be the equivalent to Outlook Express's Identities.

Outlook must shutdown in order for you to switch to another profile.
