HOW TO IDENTIFY WHERE A SPECIFIC EMAIL COMES FROM.
RECEIVED A "SPOOF" EMAIL AND THE LEGITIMATE COMPANY WANTS
TO KNOW THIS INFO. THEY TOLD ME TO ACCESS "PROPERTIES"
(I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THAT) AND ANOTHER FRIEND SAID
THERE USED TO BE A BUTTON LABELED "MORE" IN THE TOP RIGHT
CORNER OF THE EMAIL THAT WOULD LET YOU VIEW SOURCE.
PLEASE ADVISE. THANKS

right click on the offending email, a menu pops up.
Click on "Properties".
Hit the Details tab.

look at "message source"

1. Turn off Caps Lock; it's annoying, hard to read and considered SHOUTING!

2. Just forward the email to them, they can do their own detective work.

Forwarding the e-mail doesn't work as it doesn't forward
the full header info, just the text and the senders fake
address.

What you can do is to select full header info, find the ip
info and go to a web site called whois and then type in
the Ip and it will give you info who was the sender,
sometimes...
