anyone have a recommeendation on a large IDE hard drive?

also, anyone know anything about this SATA thing? how fast does this
IDE subspec go?

also, does anyone know a thing about scsi/IDE converters, if so, what
spec to do those converters match up with IDE & scsi.

Well,you could try the Hitachi 7K400.

As fast as the drive can deliver data.
