IDE cable length question

I'm planning on getting a mid-tower atx case with the dimenions:

18" H x 17" D x 8" W

Will 18" IDE cables and a 10" floppy cable be long enough? Or should I go
for 24" IDE and 18" floppy?

The shorter cables SHOULD suffice.

Use the one to run the HDDs at the bottom of the case, the other of
removeable media drives near the middle or top of case.
