IDE 1 and IDE 2 what's the difference...?

Here what i have from the drive named
nForce_3.13_WinXP2K_WHQL_international.exe


it contain all these drver and i wounde what are the driver ide 2.0 ?

and in the package 3.44 it as
This nForce WinXP driver package contains the below components:
but it contain less stuff thatinclude the ide 2 driver witch is been
replace by an older one ???

the main question is what are the difference from IDE 1 and IDE 2 ?

IDE 2 appears to be a later version. One posted after the product was shipped.
