I'd like to make some powerpoint templates from some pictures (jpeg or gif files). Anyone know how t

Open a blank file. Click the "View" menu, select "Master", Slide Master".
Click the "Format" menu and select "Background". Find your JPEG and insert
it as the background of your file. Click the "Close Master View" button on
the toolbar to exit the Master Slide. Click the "File" menu and select
"Save as". Click the "Save as type" dropdown and select "PowerPoint
template" (pot). You have now saved your new template to be used for future
presentations. Keep in mind that there are a bunch of other things you can
do to customize your template while in the Slide Master. Check out HELP on
that topic for more info.
