ID address mark???

I"m trying to open a file on my floppy disk, but it says there was an error
because no ID address mark was found on my disk. what does this mean and how
can i fix it ASAP?!
 
This is usually a hardware failure. You probably need to change out the
floppy drive. Try the disk in another machine - it will probably work there.
Floppy drives are cheap and easy to replace.
