A
artce
I set up my small net work through my router between two computers , one
each using Windows XP Home and the other XP Pro.
During the set up process, a bridge was set up by the wizard so as to allow
access to the internet.
My question is , now, how do I get rid of this Inter Connection sharing so I
can get back to the original set up of having each computer access the
internet through its own LAN card through the router.
Why,I am sure you ask? Well this bridge operates at only 400 mb speed while
my LAN card is at 100 mb.
I cannot get the system to access the internet without this bridge.
By the way the bridge uses two of my 1394 cards to complete the bridge set
up.
Now, I know I am not crazy but I just checked the TSR portion of the task
bar and the 400 Mb bridge is gone. I have done nothing. I went into the
Network screen to check and for some reason , both 1394s have been disabled.
Only the Dlink card is operating now.
Anyway I still want to delete the Internet connection sharing as I found a
better solution.
Thanks
