Icons Smudgy

Hi

I have a new laptop My graphics looked fine yesterday but today the icons
are smudgy . My settings are fine 32bit VGA with 1024x768 same as
yesterday. Desktop icons and most fonts are fine its only the icons in
system tray and the icons under the menu of word excel pwpnt etc. The menu
bar is okay as well as my fonts when i type
The icons look twice as big as the should Its as if the graphics drivers are
not installed but they are. I reinstalled them
Any suggestions

Check the options under Display\appearance\effects make sure that the fonts
have not been changed and that large icons has not been selected.

No its not . As I said the desktop icons are okay So are the Start - All
Programs etc Its only the system tray icons, office icons ( only the icons
under the menu bar ) and regedit ( registry) icons

R-click Taskbar in the "icon area"(Quick Launch bar) select View, select
Small Icons.
