Icons on links bar

Hello. When I add an item to my links toolbar by dragging
it from the address bar, the icon appears as a symbol of
that particular webpage (for example the 'G' of Google.com

But when I logoff and logon again later, the symbol has
been replaced with the normal icon for a webpage - the
white paper in the background with the IE symbol 'e' on
the front.

Does anyone please know how I can keep the original icons
for the webpages on my links bar?

Thanks very much for your help.
