C Cal Bear '66 Mar 31, 2007 #3 Have you tried using Control + mouse wheel to size your icons? And made sure that Auto Arrange is not checked in the View option of right clicking your desktop?

K Keith Miller MVP Mar 31, 2007 #4 Desktop settings are read at login, held/modified in memory, and only written at logoff. So try logging in, setting to Medium, & logging out & back in. If they're back to small, something interfered with Explorer saving your settings -- check the Event log for any errors.
