I am using the 5 arrow (coloured) icon set in excel on a range of cells that have a simple calulation (eg. A1-B1 will give either -2, -1, 0, 1, or 2 as result). Calulation result changes pending on combo box selection (authority 1, authority 2, authority 3, up to authority 27). Problem is that the icon set doesn't work for all of the authorities.
The icon set formatting is still there in the background it just isn't working, it show's the calulation result not the corresponding arrow? The formatting works for some authorities but not for other? How is this possible?
I don't understand why excel is doing this as the cell range and range of data does not change?
