I went to the FAQ section of frontpagemvps.com and found this instruction
for inserting the ico file:
Once you have the .ico file in your root you need to add the following tag
to the <HEAD> section of your site:

<LINK REL="SHORTCUT ICON" HREF="myicon.ico">

QUESTION: What page are they talking about? Is it the <HEAD> section of the
default.htm page? Is it every page in the root directory?

Thanks, Mark Flynn

It's the head section of any page that you want to have the icon attached
to. The icon file itself can be anywhere, but having the icon file in the
root of the site makes it simpler to explain in the faq. Most people also
tend to keep it in the root so it doesn't get mixed up with the standard
images used in the rest of the site.

Hope this helps,
