We have a Windows 2000 server that runs a real time data
entry application. Some users have been unable to login
across our WAN, others have no problem. The WAN is
primarily Novell 5.5 with a fair number of Windows 2000
servers as well.
Due to a virus, our sys admins have shut down ICMP on
some of the routers. My question is whether ICMP is
required to login across the network? Any thoughts?
