icmfilter 1.0 (converting A97 to 2002)

After converting A97 to A2002, icmfilter 1.0 comes up as a missing
reference. Anyone know what icmfilter 1.0 is, and whether I can expect any
problems by removing the missing reference?

A Google search on icmfilter yields only one thread in English, and it
doesn't really shed much light If it matters, the database has _not_ been
split, and does not have any user-level security.

Try to compile the database to see if you get any errors.
it is possible to be a redundant reference left in the Access97 after one
developer "played" with an ActiveX...and then maybe he removed that ActiveX
from the application - however the reference was not being removed
automatically.

I'm still not clear on what icmfilter is. Are you saying that it is needed
for specific ActiveX controls? I run Access 2002 at home & I don't have it
listed as an available reference, so I was assuming that it was something
used in previous version that just isn't supported anymore....

I can tell you that no one has made changes to the db in over a year & the
error did not appear until the conversion took place.
