ibm camera wont install

hi i recently installed my ibm pc camera and it is not
working it says cam is not connected to computer..I have
dont everything that it says to do and it has searched
for new hardware and it saying unknown what do i do
now...thanks

Contact IBM. Make sure the camera is supported by Windows XP and make sure
you have the drivers from IBM.

I have a Genius WEB CAM and i've the same problem, is an
XP bug.
