Is there any real reason to keep C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386? It takes
up 250mb. I have all my disks and multiple backups at my finger tips.

This is your SP1 OS. You need it if you ever have to
recover anything or do a sfc /scannow and so on. If you
don't mind being prompted for a disk every time you have
an error then this is safe to delete. It really isn't
needed if you have it on disk however why slow your system
down by removing a file that it will look in to repair or
replace corrupt or missing OS files. If you are desperate
for space then go ahead.

You could try renaming the folder, and seeing if windows still runs ok

If it starts crashing/giving errors the you can just change the folders name
back.
