I would like to see DAO support reinstated.

I use Access to develop many quick solutions for business processes and find
myself frequently using DAO recordsets. I get tired of checking references
all the time and troubleshooting when a machine tries to use a network
database without the DAO dll registered on their machine. I would love to
see DAO supported once again.

After having left it out as a default reference in both Access 2000 and
2002, DAO was added back in as a default in Access 2003.

Time will tell whether it's in the next version of Access (not even in Beta
yet), but my money is on yes, it will be.

I don't think any version of Access failed to register DAO did it?
