I am using Outlook 2003.

I would like to drag and drop emails within a folder so I can arrange them
as I wish.

Is this possible? How can I do it?

Thanks.

no, you need to sort them by something, have you tried "categories" it allows
you to assign a category to messages and you can sort by that

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I appreciate your response.

From your information it appears this capability does not exist in Outlook
2003.

Up to now I have been using Compuserve email and it is very easy to do.

If I used "categories" it would mean I would have to change and/or add new
categories almost each time I sent or received an email. I often want to
change the order of a message or group of messages within a folder.
