I would like to install XP on my USB 2.0 2gig keychain.

Do you guys see any problems with that?

Would be really sweet if this can be done.

No problem - other than it won't work.
You might be able to install WinPE on it...
 
i have done extensive research in this area. I have found absolutely no-one
who has successfully done this. Even with a BIOS that boots to USB, XP
refuses to allow the swap drive (the boot drive) to be on a "removeable"
partition. Apparently Linux does this just fine though.

interesting article along these lines.

Of course, the problem with flash memory degradation tends to put me off the
idea of seriously running an OS from a USB drive as a long term idea.
