I would like to customize my own labels

I have installed the office 2007 and finde out to my surprise that I can't
customize my company's label. all the available labels are predesigned.
 
You must have done something "not quite right". What happens when you open
your label doc and try to edit it? Please don't say "It won't let me" or "I
get some sort of error message" - we need specifics.
