I would like to creat a basic macro/ how do I do that

I would like to creat a basic macro. Like a button on a website to activate
something else. Maybe make it work for an email or another website or even
download something. I know how to add graphics and links to the graphics
already for email and website connections. I guess I really would like to
know how to make a macro to download a file or upload a program or open a
program. Just a basic format for a macro and some ideas on how to fill in
the blanks, would be helpful. Like what goes in between the " amd the " to
make the macro work. ya know?

The focus of this newsgroup is Macros in Microsoft Access, the database
programme. It would appear that your question is in another context. You
will have a better chance of a good help if you re-post to another newsgroup
more related to the technology you are using.
