I want to remove the numbering of pages from my work

How can I remove the numbering of my pages in an essay.

The numbers are probably in the header (or the footer, if they're at
the bottom of the page). Either select View > Header or just
double-click in the header area to open it, then select the number and
delete it.

The number may be in a frame (dashed box); if so, click the edge of
the box and delete that, too. (See
