Howdy,

1. Recently, I noticed my partioned drive is needing increased in size.
Is that possible to do?

I have searched for help to no avail, through out microsoft knowledge base..
Respectfully,

Now enjoying the serenity of not having to answer all those Dang Phone
calls..

How much free space do you have on the drive? You can accomplish that
with a third party program like Partition Magic.
It may also be done by rt clicking MyComputer>select Manage>Disk
Management.

How big is your drive
How big are the other partitions
What is on C:drive beside the Operating System
Do wish to reinstall the whole operation system
Have you ever installed a Operating System
Do you have a Retail or OEM version or Winxp
Do you have more then on harddrive installed

Yes you could use Partition Magic do a google of this and read abou
Partition Magic before you buy it.
Answer these question then we can get somewhere

To increase the size of your drive buy a bigger drive. To increase the
size of a particular partition use a 3rd party program such as
Symantec's Partition Magic (formerly by Powerquest) or Terabyte
Unlimited's BootitNG. BootitNG has a full featured, 30 day free trial.

If the partion is not a system partion(i.e) c drive and your disk is a
"Dynamic disk" you can increase otherwise you cannot.

No, not true. You can increase the size of any partition, but it takes
third-party software to do so.

Partition Magic is the best-known such program, but there are
freeware/shareware alternatives. One such program is BootIt Next Generation.
It's shareware, but comes with a free 30-day trial, so you should be able to
do what you want within that 30 days. I haven't used it myself, but it comes
highly recommended by several other MVPs here.
Whatever software you use, make sure you have a good backup before
beginning. Although there's no reason to expect a problem, things *can* go
wrong.
