I want to enter new data into a lookup field...

I have several tables with several lookup fields.

If I don't see the data I want in the drop down list, I would like to enter
a new value.

Example:

I have a lookup field linked to a Drawings Table which has the following
Drawings listed.

Dwg-0001
Dwg-0002
Dwg-0003
Dwg-0004

I want to enter a new drawing number “Dwg-101-101-2000â€

Can I format my field to allow both a lookup field and the entry of a new
value which will be entered into the lookup field’s table?

Hi

1st of all delete all the lookup's from the table (not the data) by
formating the field as text, number or whatever. Do the lookup in a form.

If you use a combo for the lookup you can use the not-in-list event of the
combo to add extra rows.
