I have an HP laptop running Windows XP. I want to plug in a second monitor
to the video port so that I can use the second monitor for my audience to
view as I'm doing PowerPoint presentations. I plugged in the auxiliary
monitor to the video card port and played around a little bit in the display
settings. It seems that I can only get the second monitor to act as an
"extension" of the first monitor. In other words, I can view items in the
second monitor if I drag them there but it won't show up on the main monitor
then. I don't want an "extension" of the first monitor. I want the exact
same display to be viewed on both monitors so that the audience will see the
exact same thing on the second monitor that I see on the main monitor. Any
help?
