I used to have most pictures published in Outlook. I turned this feature off
because various malware can attach itself to JPGs, GIFs, etc. I forgot what
I did. Pleaser remind me.

Thanks...that's exactly what I wanted.
Now, another question that I should have asked already: what you you mean by
"published in Outlook"? Do you mean able to be displayed by Outlook?*
Check Tools>Options>Security>Change Automatic Download Settings.
