2 parter:

1. Do I have to have Access 2.0 installed to attempt an upgrade from 2.0 to
97, or will 97 open the file and prompt me to change whatever doesn't work.
I haven't touched 2.0 since 1996 or so.

2. Will 2.0 run on Win98, in the event I have to dust off the old floppies
and install it?

Thanks!

A97 should be able to convert a 2.0 database without having the 2.0
program installed. You'll almost surely need to tweak some of the VBA
code - with A95, Access went from 16-bit to 32-bit, changing a whole
lot of things in the code.

2.0 runs fine on Win98 (and for that matter on WinXP).
