Please I cannot share my hDD on win2000Pro. When I can
actually share on another M/c running thesame O/S next
Desk!. The sharing option on this problematic M/c did not
show

I wish this is not a miracle yet to be unravelled?

Please look up "Peer to Peer" networking in Windows Help for instructions.

Hi,
Check whether your network is configured correctly(means
check whether the OS has detected your network card)

Goto Network Properties, install the File and Printer Sharing protocol
first !
