i see a directory in cmd window but not in wondows explorer

hi,
i lost the "documents and settings" directory under my C drive. I see it if
I go to a cmd window, but can't see it in explorer. I tried to see if it's
hidden but it doesn't seem to be. Also, when searching for it in wirdonw it
is not found.
please help!!!

From Command prompt, run these commands
CD\
attrib -s -h "Documents and Settings"

Thanks. I tried but I get an "acces denied" message. maybe it has to do with
administrator rights or something.
