I route an Outlook message; they see a Word doc?

In Outlook, I select Send To Routing Recipient, build the list and Route it.
The next routing recipient sees it in a Word Document rather than as an
Outlook email message. So any attachments I sent are unable to be viewed by
the next routing recipient. I'm sure it's a settings issue, but can't find
how to change the settings for Routing view. Help?
 
Unless you really want the word formatting you might be able to just switch
the settings to use outlook as your default email editor....

Tools>Options>Mail format>Uncheck use microsoft word as default email editor
