I reset the computer account

I reset one of my computers accounts today without really thinking about it.
I was using AD on the server and right clicked "reset account"

The problem I have now is that machine will not log onto the domain. I have
tried changing the name and adding the new account but no luck. I can log on
locally with my domain admin and see the entire network but if I try to log
onto the domain, i get the error telling me the it can't find the domian
controller.

Any Thoughts?

Resetting the machine account in ADUC causes the secure channel between the
machine and the computer to break. This feature in ADUC is designed if you
want to disassociate the computer account from the machine so that the
computer account can be reused by new hardware with the same name.

In order to resolve this you will need to logon locally, put the machine
back into a workgroup, reboot and then join it back to the domain.
