I remaned some file names and PowerPoint will no longer open them

I renamed some PowerPoint files to be inclusive of their contents, but when I
went to open them they would no longer open. I can not use the rename command
either so I have lost the use of these files. Is there any way to rename
them? I don't have the usual meno show up when I right click either, just a
short menu that does not have the rename command on it. The rename command
from the File menu does not work either.

Hi

Did the new names include punctuation? What version of windows are you using
and do you have file extensions showing? You could try opening powerpoint
and then insert -> slide from file (new slide drop down -> reuse slide ->
browse in 2007).
