I/O error while Widnows XP installation

Installation failed : D:\i386\ASMS error message : I/O
error

I've already erase the partition table and do the clean
installation but the error still exist.

Any one can help me ?

When this computer was running in Windows 2000 and
everythings is fine.
 
That can happen if DirectCD or East CD creator is on the machine or if the
installation media is damaged. Is this retail media?
 
The CD should be fine because I've tested the Windows XP installation CD on
another PC and no problem.

But when I try to disable the build-in sound card and network card in BIOS.
I found that there have more error in log file. The error is sxs.dll and the
800b0100. Also, the error is mentioned about the digital signature. I think
it may related to the driver problem because it was stopped during the
installation of component.
