I need word to open course docs, how to I download it? My docs co.

I am taking an online class in Blackboard and the docs save as wordpad, then
when I try to open them, the machine comes up with a protection error msg.
and closes down. My instructor said I could download Word and open them, but
I don't know how to get the download needed. I am using an HP XE783 with
Windows ME. Thanks!

You can download the free Word Viewer from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...60-E4F3-436D-A5A7-DA0E5431E5C1&displaylang=EN.

You can't download the full Word program, you'd have to buy it. You're
eligible to buy the Students and Teachers version, which is less
expensive than the usual Office package.
