I need to restore a removed program!

I was cleaning up my sister's pc from excess programs that came pre-loaded
onto her computer. Anyway, got distracted and I accidentally removed a
Conexant 3D Audio program (through Control Panel: Add or Remove Programs.)
now her computer has no sound. Can I restore that program? And is that the
only program necessary for sound?

Sounds like you uninstalled the hardware driver.
Visit the hardware manufacturer's web page, find and download the proper
driver, install it.
